Trascorri qualche giorno tra fisarmoniche, Lederhosen, baffi, salsicce, Schnitzel, gente alticcia che canta con le guance rosse e bariste prosperose che trasportano boccali e boccali da Maß (1 litro di birra).

L’Oktoberfest a Monaco è quel posto in cui ogni anno migliaia di tedeschi e di turisti si radunano in tendoni, ristoranti o per strada per bere quanta più birra possibile.

La birra in Bavaria è una vera e propria cultura, tanto quanto lo è il vino in Italia e in Francia. Deve essere fatta solo con luppolo e orzo che rispondano ai requisiti di Purezza Bavarese.

Per l’annuale Oktoberfest i più importanti produttori di birra tedeschi montano degli enormi stand allineati con tavoli per bere birra e bevono la birra di loro produzione; dal primo giorno in cui il sindaco spilla la prima birra dalla botte tra gruppi musicali, parate e spettacoli, si stima che vengano bevuti ogni anno circa 6 milioni di litri di birra.

Il primo Oktoberfest è stato una celebrazione di una settimana tenutasi nell’ottobre del 1810 in onore del matrimonio del principe bavarese Ludwig. I festeggiamenti ebbero un così grande successo che vennero ripetuti ogni anno e spostati al mese di settembre per godere di un clima serale migliore, anche se l’ultimo giorno cade ancora nel mese di ottobre.

Oktoberfest in Munich is where thousands of Germans and tourists alike gather in tents, in restaurants and on the streets to drink as much beer as they possibly can.

At the yearly Oktoberfest the main German brewers set up Massive tents lined with tables for drinking beer and drink beer they do, from the day 1 when the Major taps the first barrel through the bands, parades and performances, an estimated 6 million liters of beer is drunk.

The First Oktoberfest was a weeklong celebration held in October 1810 in honor of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig’s marriage. The festivities were so successful that they were repeated annually and moved into September to take advantage of a better evening climate, the last day still falls in October.
